I'll spend earth hour with my fiance, curled up beside the fire and enjoying the simple things in life. Appreciating what we have and how lucky we really are to be able to enjoy the luxury of electricity everyday.

As its happening at kids bedtime, for sure we will first check out neighbors - to see who is been naughty or nice and who isnt gonna get Xmas presents :D As we are living on the top of hill, there will be no place to hide :D
In my kid's school teachers already are doing great job teaching and explaining kids why and how to save energy, Im planing to add some fun ideas like puppet/shadow show using recycled box (could be using torch for it) and using empty cereal boxes for diy books (during day ofcourse), pringles tubes for caleidoscopes...

I CAN SEE A SECRET RENDEZ VOUS,
    A TABLE SET FOR TWO,
    WITH CANDLELIGHT AND WINE.
THERE, WE'LL SHARE AN OLD FAMILIAR TUNE,
A STRAIN OF CLAIRE DE LUNE,
    WITH CANDLELIGHT AND WINE.

THEY, CAN TAKE THE MOON AWAY,
    AND THE STARS FROM SIGHT.
    TIME CAN TAKE A HOLIDAY,
    FOR ONE ROMANTIC NIGHT.

THEN IF YOU SHOULD TOUCH YOUR LIPS TO MINE,
    WE'LL LIVE A MOMENT DIVINE,
    WITH CANDLELIGHT AND WINE.

With all the bad news in the world, it'll be a welcome relief to turn off the tv, radio and sure everything else for an hour!
Gonna sit out on my balcony and look over the Dublin city skyline and hope others will be taking part.
