    Did those string type things to hold the mags in come with- I don't suppose you know where I could get a few or even know what they are called, thanks

    Yes they came with it and they aren't really needed as there is a grippy surface inside the pouch, well there is now don't know if it will ware away. Heres the tan pouches section of the website here. If theres anything else just ask away.

    the strings are elastic. They hold the mag into the pouch... When running with real 5.56 mags, them jumping or falling out is possible. Retention is just a safe idea. Lovely mag pouches, i have some of those in od.

    um, the bungee part (elastic) is part of those pouches. Nobody sells them. You could make your own though?
