Silvercrest sat receiver SL35 HDMI

Hi

I have a silvercrest sat receiver Model SL35 HDMI and have used it for about 7 or 8 months now and the other day i turn it on and switched to my hdmi station it works on on my tv and all i got was sound but no picture of the film that was on.
But when i go to select a new station i can see the station im selecting but you cant see the film.
So does anyone know what colud be the problem with the receiver??
I have also checked the receiver on another Tv and it does the same thing so it is the receiver thats the problem.
I have also tried a different receiver and it works perfect on my tv.
So any help on how i could fix the receiver.

Try the scart output. If that does not work, contact Lidl's support and they will swap it for a unit that works.

Lidl are very good about that. Have the receipt, it helps.

Yea i have tried the scart when i tried it on the other tv and still the same sound but no picture.

So all it's showing is a black screen (with now & next display?) with sound?

It's less than 2 years old.

Just take it back to shop and get refund. It doesn't even do actual HD channels.

Is it doing the same thing for all channels, or just a few? If it's just a few, then maybe they're channels that have changed frequency/PIDs recently? And what channels, if just a few?

Other things to try if all channels are the same:

Select another satellite, and do an autoscan, see if the pictures come back. If you only have one LNB, you shouldn't have to worry about assigning DiSEqC positions.

Do a factory reset (should be somewhere in the menus).

It does the same thing with all the channels. sound but no picture only a blue screen.
Ill will do the autoscan on the sat name and see how it goes but i think its f**k.
