Are there any Dublin Zoo concessions available for this weekend has anyone noticed?

I intend going this weekend and will probably bring a few extra kids with me...it's too late for the tesco ones as they have to be booked in advance etc...are there any free/half price admissions available at the mo? I'm sure I saw them on a cereal box recently??

    Thanks alot:)

There were vouchers on some organic youghart but I think they've expired (the offer).

It was kids free with adult I think.
    - I'm going to suggest it on Boards Deals suggestions thread....

I saw some posters when around Dublin last week about half price family tickets

I think they still run the 10% IrishRail discounts, according to http://www.geodealio.com/map/ and http://www.irishrail.ie/home/railRewardsLoyalty.asp
    better than nothing :)

I've decided to give it a miss this weekend unfortunately - its 15 for me and 10.50 for each child (I'd have 3 kids with me)...and that doesn't include the busfare:eek:

I love the zoo but had forgotten how expensive it can be...will bring them to the park with a football and a picnic until I can get some conessions, thanks:)

Thanks, but I'd have to buy tickets from irish rail to avail of the offer - not something I do normally, so it would defeat the purpose, but thanks:)

You can get a family pass for half-price through AnPost for the month of March by
    a) Purchase a One4all Gift Voucher or Gift Card (minimum spend €15)
    or
    b) Conduct a postfone top up (minimum spend €10)

One4all gift cards cost €2 to buy at the post office.
Family pass is normally €52 with two adults & four kids.

If you think you'd visit more than a couple of times a year, I can recommend getting a family membership. You can get in with a squad of kids for free when you join, and it's free into Fota (and some other places as well). It's excellent value.

    Membership seems excellent value
    http://www.dublinzoo.ie/inside.asp?pageId=24&sectionId=7&level=1

€100 for individual (allows member + 1 adult or member + 2 kids free entry to zoo or fota)

€160 for family (Member + 3 adult through to member + 6 kids)

Might be well worth a look for many with school hols coming up.

I didn't realise kids could go free if I got an individual pass! That's great news! I am a single mum and thought I'd have to get the family pass but for 100e I can get an annual one, for myself and my son! That's great news - considering I was gonna pay 36e for myself and 2kids last weekend! Defo gonna get the annual pass - thanks:)

...and a friend of his. The accompanied people don't have to be family members.
