Don't see another thread for this event on Saturday, card below..

    Main Card (ESPN 2am)
Light Heavyweight bout: Antônio Rogério Nogueira vs. Phil Davis
Welterweight bout: Dan Hardy vs. Anthony Johnson
Welterweight bout: Amir Sadollah vs. DaMarques Johnson
Featherweight bout: Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung
    Facebook Fights (1am)
Featherweight bout: Alex Caceres vs. Mackens Semerzier
Heavyweight bout: Jon Madsen vs. Mike Russow
    Preliminary Card
Welterweight bout: John Hathaway vs. Kris McCray
Bantamweight bout: Michael McDonald vs. Edwin Figueroa
Heavyweight bout: Sean McCorkle vs. Christian Morecraft
Welterweight bout: Johny Hendricks vs. TJ Waldburger
Middleweight bout: Mario Miranda vs. Aaron Simpson
Lightweight bout: Waylon Lowe vs. Nik Lentz

Pumped for the Garcia/Zombie rematch, should be amazing. Think Phil Davis is going to pull off the W against Nog.

Very nice card for a UFN. All of the main card fights apart from the Sadollah one could have been main events really.

Even the preliminary card is fairly stacked for a set of prelims. Eight fights! Hopefully there will be some going on facebook or Spike or that other tv station they use for prelims.

My picks on the main are Davis, Johnson, Sadollah and Garcia.

Even though I'd love to see the Korean zombie win the last. Hopefully it's as epic as the first and sets up a rubbermatch :pac:

Can't seem to be able to edit the original post again, another three fights added on Facebook for Saturday. Not sure what time they start now, I'd guess midnight though.

Nice, I was looking forward to seeing the Hathaway and McCorkle fights.

Nick Lentz can stay where he is for every card as far as I'm concerned, he's the biggest snoozefest in MMA history.

there's one seriously piece of value in the fight of the night market
    for saturdays fight card
garcia v the korean zombie is a massive 7/1 to be fight of the night.
seems only paddy are pricing up that market so far
huge misprice imo if the fight goes the same way as
their first encounter which it probably will given their styles

going for a treble of these also
    davis
    hathaway
    morecraft
    pays near 6/4
can't see past the first two myself and see
    morecraft beating "big sexy" also

Got it at 7/1, cheers for the tip! Would have thought it'd be useless money.

    that looks good

    9/2 at the minute

just after hearing jung has changed camps and gone
to train with uriah fabers camp
hope to hell that doesnt mean a change of tactics.
no worries with garcia about his tactics anyway

Looking forward to this one. I think Davis is a beast and honestly do think given the right fights he could be a future prospect due to his wrestling strength and his athleticism. He could even possible challenge Jon Jones if he's handled in the correct manner (just my opinion but I think he's the best out of the current LHW to pose a problem to Jones)

On a side note just saw the weigh ins there. Hathaway looks seriously ripped for the weigh in. He must cut a load of weight. I know he's a big WW but wondering how long he can keep that weight cut up for.

Can't wait for this !!!!! The only thing is if this one is anything near what the 1st fight was every other fight on the card is going to look rubbish :D

Since they've had Daylight Savings in the states already it works out in our favour. If it were tomorrow it'd be 12.30.

Can you re-stream the Facebook fights or just live?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,948 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

Be interesting to see what will happen to Hardy should he lose tonight, that'd be 3 losses on the bounce and others have been cut for far less.

I'm thinking that if he loses they'll keep him, even if it's just for a UK card, and feed him some easy meat

not 100% but i would imagine if you miss it live then your
    chance is gone

    no doubt about it
at least he's facing quality opposition for the umpteenth time tonight also.
it's a shame bisbing doesn't get to face more decent opponents

If the Facebook prelims are starting at 23:30 i'd say the main card will be at 02:00

That's because UFC know that Bisping is there Golden Goose for the UK and don't want him to lose 2/3 on the bounce, that's why they feed him cans

Did sadollah and hardy for the double at 2/1 or somethnig, bet 30 returns 94, so be worth 64 notes, great odds IMO

    that is true
must be frustrating for bisbing given how good he
    thinks he is

after bisbing beat akiyama dana white made this statement
and then he gave him rivera ffs

“I thought he looked great… it definitely puts him back in the mix and he will fight someone top 5 next. He is back on his way towards a title shot.”

Christian Morecraft beats Sean McCorkle by standing guillotine in 2nd round. Dominant performance.

Hell of a fight there. Looking forward to seeing them both again.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,838 ✭✭✭✭3hn2givr7mx1sc

His escapes were ridiculous in the 2nd round. McDonald looks very impressive and he's only 20.
    Love bantamweight fights!

He had about 8 different submissions locked in and Figueroa just snuck out of it every time. ****ing great fight.

Love this (stolen from Reddit): I have Leonard Garcia getting knocked out in the first round then, miraculously, getting a unanimous decision win. Agree, disagree?

I'd pay the FotN bonus to them myself if he gets knocked out then comes back to win!

And the ref in the first fight was a bit crap too, only Josh, Herb & Mario have been OK.

Hope those 3 take the final 4 fights as hate to see a bad ref's call fcuk things up

Hoping for another epic battle here, and Jung for the win to set up a rubbermatch somewhere down the road.
