Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Website host problem - need help!!

    Right, i don't even no if anyone can help me with this but i am terrible with this kind of stuff and am rather desperate for help!
    So i have used the site wix.com to create a website for myself and bought a domain name and a host from letshost.ie. This has been working smoothly for me for the last few months. Last night i was updating the site via wix and went to view it online and was greeted with this - www.silkephotography.net
    I have no idea why this page is coming up instead of my site, it could be something really simple that i just don't know but i was just wondering if ANYONE out there with more no how then me could shed any light on the matter or give me any direction on how to fix it?

    Did you do anything to your DNS records on letshost.ie?

    In particular the 'A' record? Not sure about wix but to front services like tumblr with a www.yourdomain.ie you will set up a DNS A Record which points to the tumblr servers.

    If this is the case and if it was reset then it could be pointed back to letshost.ie rather than wix

    (all of that is plausible but also may be clap trap :) - good luck sorting it)

    It may be that you lost your index.html page in the update? I *think* wix is flash based, and it can be an issue. Try uploading a generic page named index.html and see if that makes any difference..
