Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    I'm am considering doing the following;

    Creating a short video collage of GAA teams highlights.
    Basically a motivational video of sorts.

    I want to use a Windows video package that allows me to put all different video snippets together, mix with (motivational) music, and overlay graphics, text, captions etc.

    So, questions I have;
    1) What video editor would you recommend?
    2) Is it free?
    3) Easy to use?
    4) I believe most of the video snippets I require are on youtube, which I believe is streamed, is there a simple way of recording to disk these streamed videos, i.e. capture them, to add to the video collage? like a video capture version of print screen?

    Any info / recommendations greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Windows Movie Maker is free...
    Pinnacle Video Spin is also free.

    Both would probably do the job adequately..

    The free applications you'll realise soon enough that "i cant do this and i cant do that" so maybe just cut to the chase and buy Adobe Premier

    Can anyone answer the question re saving youtube footage?

    I use http://www.downloadhelper.net/ add on with firefox. Also I own snagit http://www.techsmith.com/snagit/default.asp which does the same thing too. But costs money.
