    Hello,
I'm hoping someone can clarify an issue I'm having with transport to the gig.

From the Body&Soul website it gives details of bus combo tickets to the festival from Dublin, Limerick and Cork. It says details of the Cork and Galway buses will be given closer to the festival. I booked 2 ticktes today. However when I phoned tickets.ie to clarify where the tickets would be sent, the girl told me that the bus combo ticket is from Dublin only. Although it does say this on the tickets.ie website, it contradicts completely what the body&soul site says.

To make matters worse she then informed me they offer no refunds. So now I am stuck with 2 tickets and no way of getting there. I intended on going from Galway, my friend from Cork. I've sent angry emails to Body&soul but haven't heard back. I'm obviously very disappointed, been making masks for the masquerade ball all afternoon.

If anyone has any info on whether there are any of these phantom buses going from Cork/Galway I'd greatly appreciate it. I did look at car pooling but can only find ones coming back on Monday, but we both have to be back at work on Monday.

    Thankyou

Most looking forward to The Field, Mount Kimbie, Darkstar and Nicolas Jaar.

Annoying how little information is being given about buses to people, and that the buses from Dublin only start at 11am when the festival gates open at 9am

    Hahaha!
Sorry, I appreciate you may have been let down with the buses... but there's something very very Fr. Dougal McGuire about that line in red!!

it does look like false advertising on their part though... maybe try them on their facebook page??

    Hey everyone,

Really hoping to go to the festival, just wondering if any of you would know of anyone selling a ticket? Willing to pay 80euros.

    Cheers!

I see there's a few people here from Cork looking for a bus to Body and Soul? Wanna club together and get a minibus?

Otherwise, is there anyone with space in a car for two lovely girls? We have our tickets, are VERY excited and will of course pay for petrol and buy sweets and stuff if someone is kind enough to give us a lift!!

Another excellent festival. Cheers to body and soul. A lot more people than last year but still the same lovely vibe and the same effort put in by the organisers. Lee scratch perry was brilliant!

Have to agree - excellent fun was had. There did seem to be way more people there this year. Wonder what the actual numbers were, despite the extra people everything ran really smoothly.

Loved it - it's the new EP (back when it was small, special and cool)

Amazing weekend. Great atmosphere and everyone was in such good form!

The Field and Nicolas Jaar were the musical highlights for me!

Still feel like I missed out on so much though, so many things to do at the festival. But then the chilled back atmosphere makes you just want to sit down and chat at the same time.

    Anyone see Lamb?
    Gutted that I missed them

Saw the end of them and they were very good. Never heard of them before that, but will be checking them out after what I saw

What an absolutely awesome weekend!!!! I literally didn't stop laughing from the minute I walked in the gate, til the minute I left :-)

The vibe was unbelievably chilled out and everyone was so friendly.

This was by far and away the best festival I was ever at!

Nicolas Jaar was my highlight from a musical point of view.

See you all next year folks...

Great festival. Shame about the b*tch of a security woman terrorising sleeping people on the Monday morning. Still couldn't put a dampner on the experience though!

Great wknd! really is impossible to take in everything as an earlier poster pointed out...
But I'm happy I got to see Holy F*ck & Fat Freddy in particular! Great shows
From B&S's facebook page along with other Internet forums, it looks like 99% of attendees were well impressed.
I just hope they bottle this magical formulae for next year and we don't see an increase in capacity, price, commercialism, etc...

    Roll on 2012!

I had a great time but to the bastard who fell on my face through my tent at like 5 in the morning, lay off the drugs next time please.
    Other than that great time.

Why was there music blaring from the recycling tent in the middle of the campsite 24 hours a day? That was my biggest gripe, I found it impossible to sleep in the campsite (apart from people falling on your tent, tripping over your guide-ropes or roaring and shouting at all hours - the usual).

These are the best band I saw at the festival, what a performer, really got everyone going

I dont understand this either. I wasn't camped too close to it but would have been very annoyed if I was.

Otherwise, no complaints. Brilliant weekend. Just brilliant. Such a lovely vibe there. I wanna go baaack.

    Was there was well,

It was my first Irish festival ( normally go to metal festivals in Europe but since I broadened my musical palette I decided to go for it )

Went with 5 friends, one of which is into that Holistic stuff ( acupuncturist ).

I will be honest and say I did not know ONE band going there, but I think thats what made it for me, I was able to relax rather than adhere to a stringent time table, waddled in and out of the grounds, went to see Lamb, lee scratch perry, some of the electronic music and others, walked around the fantastic grounds.

Have to say I was VERY impressed with it all round, good people, good music, reasonably priced, great vibe with people dressed up ( I have to dress up at festivals ! ).

Only small concern would of been the Toilets in the campsite, did not bother me too much being a lad but they where scary ! , on the other hand the portaloos in the festival itself where grand !

Perhaps I overdid it a tad on the Sunday night !and passed out ! I tend not to bother people when I am in that state tho and the homing device kicks in and I get some kip.

I will definitely go back next year thats for sure.

I don't understand why people don't bring earplugs to festivals if they want to sleep - bizarre! The Bring Your Empties guys didn't bother me (and we were pitched right beside them) because I couldn't hear them through my earplugs! :p

This also bothered me greatly. Plus the disgusting toilets ....

Saw them but was disappointed how mellow they were.
Highlights for me were The Field, the Drummer guys whoever they were and Daithi.
Great festival. We camped in the old persons/quiet campsite where you wouldn't hear a mouse. The toilets were toilets so you just shut your eyes and get on with it.
