The least Leinster could do is cover Shane Horgan Cup.
That is different. No province but Munster covers the development programme to any real extent
The timing of the games is no excuse, they could be covered retrospectively very easily, if the desire was there of course. Its not just unfair, it's really poor from a marketing/PR point of view, turnstilles tanking so lets do our best to disenfranchise an enormous cohort within the province before they even turn 18.
Timing of the games is a very valid reason and considering I have written articles online about schools/youths competitions in the past I know its the truth. Schools games are played mid week when staff are working, there is no other games on as competition. Match reports can go up online immediately. Clubs(youths) games can simply get lost in the midst of all games adult/20s at the weekend.

All provinces will be having screening sessions this week for provincial squads considering its mid term.

19-12 to Bandon, the score pretty much reflecting their dominance up front after Con lock got a knock to the head, again Bandon 9 had a big game albeit with plenty of clean ruck ball. Con had try in final moments to put some respect on the board.

Are you sure NCW beat Waterpark u18? I thought Waterpark were 19 points up during the second half or did NCW make a big come back?

Edit: Waterpark won 27-8. In u16 NCW lost to Waterpark 14-11.

I'd be going for a Bruff vs Ennis final. Don't know much about the Bandon team though so maybe they could beat Bruff. Waterpark winning was a massive surprise.

Yes - Surprised by the Waterpark win - Would have strongly fancied NCW there..

Perhaps the big fanfair of the double-header etc. got to them...

Don't know much on Bandon either , I know that NCW beat them a few weeks back in the group stage by only a point or two so they'll be decent enough no doubt.

Ennis vs Skib was a pretty good game... Great conditions for it.

Ennis fairly dominant throughout , It was 10-3 at half time , but Skib had hardly been out of their half , Ennis missed 2 very kickable penalties (one back off the posts) and a few passes went astray when tries were there to be had..

2nd half though Ennis upped the pace and the passes began to stick , 2 further converted tries put the game beyond reach of Skib , but to their credit they finished very strongly and only some top notch defence from Ennis stopped them from getting a deserved consolation try, having been in the Ennis 22 for the final 8 or 9 minutes.

When do they play games do you know? There will still be a good few clubs players I would have thought as there are two teams.

Thats incredible, have seen all four of those teams a number of times and if there had been a book would have had a wedge on a Ennis vBruff final.

End of day they're only young lads. Well done to the finalists and my comisirations to the vanquished.
