Garryowen beat Waterpark 20-15 , with Waterpark getting a try in the final whistle.. Garryowen OH controlled the game and the conditions keeping Waterpark pinned back all game, forcing them to attack from deep all game.

Ennis won the 2nd semi in a nail-biter.. 20-17 , Tralee spent the final 5-6 minutes camped on the Ennis line pushing for a try, but Ennis held on.

Final next Sunday in Thomond at 3:45pm

I've watched Garryowen under 18's a few times this season and their outhalf has been the standout player every time. He controls the game exceptionally well and is a top drawer player, definitely one for the future.

Yes , and he completely outshone his opposite number Ben Daly, who was his understudy this season for Munster. Really controlled the game..

Munster Club Finals pushed back a week , will now take place on April 2nd.

Munster have closed the main pitch in Thomond park to protect it for the Toulouse game so U16/U18 finals will be played the day after now.

at least they're still in Thomond and on main pitch. Great that club youths games are back in Thomond after few years not in the ground.

Great thing about donnybrook was Leinster always played as many games as possible on the pitches even when it wrecked the 2 pitches there.

Such a shame all Ireland's are not what they were at youths level any more.
Would love if it got back to like it was back in hey day of ail and youths 16/18, 17/19 finals were played as part of triple header with ail1 final on main pitch in Lansdowne

Any Rugby clubs or summer camps open during this summer between July-August (IN Dublin) for a 16 year old lad? Please direct to some existing post or advise ? Cheers

2 city cup finals without any sides from the city playing. Nenagh Ennis game was by all accounts a real classic. Nenagh came from 22-3 down to win 24-22. Not bad for a side that could have ended up playing in the bowl if you went by positions in phase 1 of the league.
Iia that 18s cup the open or closed cup as the 16s was the closed version?

some clubs could run their own skills sessions but unlikely to be any form of scheduled camp for that age unless you look at Leinster school of excellence which is in kings hospital school off junction 7 m50... That may have sold out though

The 18's game was the closed cup.

Crescent won the U16s Open Cup , Not sure who won the 18's Open Cup.

Limerick city clubs are struggling with numbers due to the increased schools panel sizes this season.

Ennis very strong at Youths at present.

Narrowly lost the League and Cup Finals at U14's to Young Munster and Shannon respectively ,Won the League and Cup Double at U15's, Won the League and lost the Cup final at U16 and won the BOI Munster Cup at U18

Hard to compete with schools but what would you like seen done? If Clements are now an A school as i heard that they are how many schools within Limerick city are left that have boys attending? Villiers, CBS Sexton St, Gaelcholaiste. Any more within city.

Ennis should be strong. The town is huge and they also attract large amount of kids in west clare who dont/wont play for the clubs like Kilrush etc. Ennis is the sort of town, like Navan, Tralee, Drogheda, Dundalk that the IRFU should be funneling huge funds creating satellite mini rugby clubs around to help develop more clubs in these areas and try develop them into youths clubs in time and ideally new adult clubs in 20 years or so.

Munster youths lost to the exiles at he weekend 31-25. Very big tipp/Waterford representation in squad. And great seeing so many clubs involved in particular a few clubs that haven't had many players involved in squads before/in long time

was told by a coach of one of teams it's Munster.
and it was Ulster.... Not a competitive game but originally listed on few places as Munster and I'd been told on phone it was Munster. More of an opposed training with backs running lines and forwards doing lineouts and scrums against each other. Then they played 20mins of scenarios and played few phases
