Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know a cheap place to get an A3 poster printed in Bray or nearby.

Its not of a photo so it doesnt need to be high quality but perhaps someone will know of somewhere.

Ive found one stop print shop but I couldnt get through on the phone and cant find any reviews of the place so any info on that would help also.

Steve is only up the road from Bray, should be able to sort you out

+1 for steve but his work is more based on a quality print (which I guess isn't a bad criticism).

as an alternate choice but a little further into the city - reads on nassau street do while you wait poster prints. not the same product as steve produces by a long shot (doesn't even resemble it) but for poster quality they'd be fine.

I seriously wouldn't go anywhere near reads personally. Paid 20 quid for a poster last year (bit over A3) and they cropped it when they specifically said they wouldn't. Grrr...

There's a fuji shop in the square, tallaght that does big prints afaik. I know tallaght's not bray, but if they have the capacity, maybe there's one out your neck of the woods that does the same?

The only one I would take a chance on in Bray is Bray Photo Labs, I wouldn't touch Fuji. That said I'd strongly suggest you contact Steve in 360-dpi.com, he's in Dun Laoghaire, only 15-20 minutes from Bray and you know you'll get a decent print.

Thanks for all the replies, Much appreciated.

I checked out reads the other day and it was €12.50 for an A2 poster ( I made a mistake, I need A2 not A3).

The quality isn't much of a concern as it is mostly text with a tiny image plus it will only be used once for a college presentation and isn't needed after that so the cheaper the better.

I would give Steve a shout but I think it would be overkill on price for this but I have some photos I want to get printed soon so Im glad to see all the recommendations here.

Do Reads take long to print as I will be popping in and out of Dublin tomorrow quickly as I can and need it before monday.

Thanks again for the helpful replies and recommendations :)

Do Reads take long to print as I will be popping in and out of Dublin tomorrow quickly as I can and need it before monday.

When I used them, I rang ahead, got an email address for them, told them to be expecting it, emailed it to them and they had it printed by the time I got there.

Probably just make sure the image file that you send them is cropped to A2 proportions such that you aren't leaving anything up to them (like sinead's experience above).

oh, they are also in sandyford if that's of any use.

I used the one off Nassau Street / Sentanta Place so can't vouch for the Sandyford one.

Have used Reads for A2 posters before, they're the cheapest I could find and the quality was fine.

That sounds like a good idea, I also should ask them will they print from a PDF as its was done in powerpoint so I presume that would be the easiest file format to deal for them and it is also already in A2 format thankfully so no worries about major cropping.

Ill post my results when I see them. Cheers for the help!

Ah, not a poster size photo.

You could try Fortune Print in Bray - 01.286 4349, I'm not sure if they do small runs or one off prints but it might be worth checking
