Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

when is the best time to spray these. They are only on the silage ground. what is the best spray for them that wont damage/burn grass. Grass is now closed off.

Now is the best time to spray if leaves are up , spray with either moretone or dockstar , moretone only kills for a while but dockstar slows grass growth.

We have used several over the years, Bandock, Dockstar, and more recently Eagle.
In general we found you want to hit them young, at rosette stage, when the leaves are small. (probably early yet).
You want to hit them 2 years in a row.
Eagle does not kill clover, it may check grass growth but only on the short term. It's not cheap either.

eagle is the job-if there is a major problem repeat in the autumn-but only do a half rate both times. saves money

Too early yet, i'd wait for better growth as this ensures rapid uptake, i have used doxstar and eagle both with good results. they all check growth.

if grass is up to maybe 4 inches high and docks are at a good sized leaf is it too late to spray them, would I be better graze, top the docks and hit them when they are smaller?? should have gone last few weeks(dry) but far too busy and now growth has taken off(good complaint tho)
