Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Disable dedicated graphics card to increase battery life?

I can't check it for a few days so I thought I'd ask here, it could be useful for others anyway.

Most laptops out lately with a dedicated card have 2/3 hours battery at best. On a lappy with an i3 or i5 can the user revert back to the integrated graphics by turning the dedicated one off in device manager or in the bios?

Is it doable? Much improvement in battery life?

It is doable, I have heard of several manufacturers which advertise it as a feature. That's not to say it will work for you though, it might be unique to certain brands or types of motherboards. Best option is to check your BIOS when you can.
