    Hi.

What would be the most effective way to begin learning German at home in regards to cd sets, software etc. Also I'm trying to keep the costs down.

    Thanks

Also I was thinking of having it transfered to a Dictaphone which I can obviously use 'on the go' so if ye have any recommended formats I'd be much obliged.
To the MODS I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, thanks.

There's a guy called Michel Thomas that my dad raved about when he was learning Spanish. As far as I know you can download it from itunes. (German, French, Italian, Spanish...maybe more)
