Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't let anyone tell you it's impossible.

How well it'll work under less than perfect conditions is another story. Your location, starting materials and skills will have a huge bearing on success.

Better option would be to increase dish size to at least 80cm.

Cant see any reason why it wouldnt be possible.

Whether it would actually work though is another matter !

    It's possible, but REALLY stupid.

You want 78cm Triax in south East, and 90/95 Triax most of Ireland (wide/high) and 110cm Triax at extreme Western areas.

The Triax has a strong enough arm
    Enough gain
and properly made arm that just clips in.

You need more gain, Always, for multifeed.

Triax 90/85 dish with Triax adaptor.

    28E, 19E, 13E and 9E.

The Triax bar can easily be customised:

You are wasting your time and money with a Sky Dish.

Ok let me rephrase for the pedants amongst us. A muli LNB set up on a 60cm sky mindish will not work in Ireland correctly. Anyone who claims otherwise is misinformed.

Guys the Op is looking for help here , why waste his/her time trying solutions that do not work?

All the transponders in the rain?
You verified it on a Meter?

In Galway there is no way there is a sensible rain margin on Sky dish with offset LNB. You simply have not tested it properly during rain.

Is there/will there ever be an LNB for Ka and Ku?

I have a motorised dish... pain in the backside!

I hopefully in the next couple of months will have a multi lnb arm with switch my box can control the switch. Quicker to change satellites and the dish is more secure. The motor works perfect but because it has to move the dish is easier knocked off line with the wind.

I have a 1.2m dish though. bit too big for some properties but if you have a good line of sight you can have the dish on the ground on a 4' pole hidden behind a bush (like I do)

Best if your box can handle diseqc

oval shaped or parabolic dishes are not really suitable for receiving multiple satellites , you have to use circular ones as they bring in more signal more evenly
