    The new series of Doctor Who begins at Easter with
    The Impossible Astronaut
    . But before that we have a short scene written by Steven Moffat that reveals a little of what we can expect from the adventure … and what the Doctor will be facing!

    Basq - think you're confused. This looks like the opening to Season 32, not Season 6 (which would be in black and white and feature the 2nd Doctor)

    Nice taster anyway - little bit creepy too. If it was RTD it'd probably have opened with the President farting...

    I liked how the actor playing Richard Nixon didn't try and do an impression or pastiche of Tricky Dick. Gotta say that wee prequel has me totally stoked about this new series & what it might promise...

    Oh man, so excited - it really seems like series 6 is going to be great to look at; it all looks like a million dollars :D

    Though I have to laugh: for all the latex and CGI, easily the scariest thing in that trailer for me is the clown with the balloon @ 0:39. I'd rather cuddle a dalek than meet that guy in my room.

    I thought the same thing for a while, but it's definitely Rory and Amy huddled behind a pillar. It's easier to see it in motion. Rory's closest to the camera, wearing a body warmer, and you can just about make out Amy's flannel shirt and flapping red hair behind him. That really does seem like
    the old console room
    , though! So exciting!

    Seriously, use the bloody spoiler tags!!! So called "White text spoilers" are of no use to people who view the site using a theme where the default text colour is white, or many other light colours!
