Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is probably a simple or stupid question but I have to ask before I buy. I am getting a new PC online from Overclockers. I already have a license for windows 7 but if I buy the PC without the OS, how difficult will it be to install the OS from scratch. Is it a simple case of throwing the CD in or is there alot more too it?

Windows 7 is very easy to install, as in there is very little steps to go through when it starts. The installation should start after the BIOS/"black" screen loads (as long as you have the disk in the drive :)) It normally says "Press any key to start Windows installation". That's it in a nutshell. When Windows finishes the install it will restart. When it does ignore the "Press any key to start Windows installation" i.e. don't press a key on your keyboard.

Final thing, when Windows boots for the first time you should connect to the internet and run a Windows update. This should find the majority of drivers for you.

You might have to enter your BIOS Setup to make sure your computer will boot from the CD drive before the hard drive. The key to press is normally "Delete" these days while the computer is turning on. You will find something about "Boot Sequence" here, and should bring CDROM to the top of the list!

    Good luck
