    Hi Folks

I'm guessing there is a few of you out there who have been lucky enough to scoop up an iPAD 2 or have one on order just waiting to get your hands on it- lucky sods:D!!

You'll probably want something quality and slick not to mention cheap after the splurge on your new gadget to carry and protect it whilst out and about.

    Have a look at this
    dln1713_10_rtv_.jpg
It's the Philips DLN1713 slip case
This Sleeve is designed with padded, durable neoprene to protect your iPad on the go. Use it as a carrying case or an added layer of protection inside your bag.The fold-over closure keeps the iPad secure, while the reversible design keeps it fun

believe it or not there is even a spec sheet for it:eek:

This feels great to the touch:o (thanks neoprene!) and looks cool
    Its yours for only €24.99

Another options is the luxurious Philips DLN1714

This case has a soft neoprene inner and luxurious leatherette outer for a polished, professional look. The smooth, durable leatherette has a padded lining – double protection for the glass display and closes securely with the flap.

Tech spec? yep, here it is -

This can be yours for only €29.99

How about a VERY COOL SPEAKER DOCK?
    Check this beastie out -
Its the iPad compatible Philips DS8550
    ds8550_10__fv_.jpg

This Speaker Dock pumps out 15 watts per channel and has bass ports to improve bass response - it sounds great as well with a full, rich and detail sound - call in and check it out.

Importantly fron a sound point of view, this unit takes the Digital Audio fed direct from your iPad/Pod/Phone thereby bypassing those units on board DAC's to give you the best possible connection and sound quality.

Another nicety is the built in battery so you can take it to the garden or park and enjoy it under sunny blue skys (maybe.....) It should last upto 5 hours of tuneage.

You dont even need to physically dock the iPad (etc) as you can stream music via Bluetooth to it - handy if your gaming on your iPad as you can beam the sound to the DS8550 whilst you swing the iPad about:D

    Here is it's full spec
    http://www.philipsshop.ie/Spec%20Sheets/ds8550_10_pss_eng.pdf

The DS8550 sells instore for €249.99 but if you pm me i'll do you a better price.

    Enjoy your iPad2's folks.....
