Meteor Unlocking

Hi guys, phones acting up and need a replacement that works sim free for a college project. Can pick up a meteor pay as you go Samsung I5500 brand new for pretty cheap. Was wondering if anyone knows if I ring up as soon as I buy it, will they provide an unlocking code & if yes, how soon do they provide it? Thanks

Mods, can you please scrap this? I rang Meteor, and although I have been a broadband customer for almost a year with them, they wont unlock a phone for me unless I top up by €130. :rolleyes:
