[Aldi] DVD Multi-Media Micro System - for TV - useful?

not even sure if I'm in the right forum
What I have right now is a nice TV (Samsung LE46C530) with bad speakers. I'd like a setup that feeds into external speakers so I can get better sound.
Does this look like it would be useful?

I have:
* PC connected to TV through VGA and line-in.
* XBox connected to TV by composite.
* UPC connected by Scart.
* Built-in digital aerial.
I don't even need the DVD playing of the system linked to above, but would be interested if it will let me improve the sound for the PC, XBox and UPC.0
