problems downloading free books to kindle

    two problems

    firstly we get an error message with mobi files saying that adobe 9 may be corrupt or delivered by email,
    secondly a html version downloaded via a pc shows up on the kindle on 'my computer' but is not on the kindle itself

    seeking tp download from project gutenberg

    any thoughts anyone?:confused:

    Have you tried using Cailbre - www.calibre-ebook.com
    This free software is great for formatting different file types for Kindle
