Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I hope you can help and Mods Please move this if I'm posting in the wrong place

I'm trying to play a DVD on my Tosh Sat pro Laptop. It's running on Windows XP and I used to be able to play DVD's but lately I've got the following error
"Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer"

Does anyone know where I can download the necessary.

    Thanks
    A

Get VLC or MediaPlayerClassic, they'll play anything. MPC comes with K-lite codec pack. Google !

see here vlc , http://www.videolan.org/ use media open disc in the menu, to play a dvd, it plays just about any video file ,dvd, avi, etc
i can never play any file with windows media player ,unless its wmv format.
or right click file ,click open with vlc .
vlc is easier to use, free basic realplayer also plays dvds.
