    Hi,

I’m thinking of getting a large (whole back area) dragon tattoo on my back (all black). Does anyone know of an artist in Dublin that they would recommend for this?

    Also...

I had an all black tattoo done 11 years ago. It’s since faded significantly to a dull shade. Is it possible to have this redone to bring back the vibrant black colour?

Cant advice you on who to go to but you can have your existing tattoo touched up to bring it up to date :D

I got a small tattoo in Dragon tattoo i was very impressed with them , i got paw prints and the guy actually spent a lot of time explaining the picture i brought in wasn't right as in foot prints wouldn't fall in that pattern , he fixed it showed it to me and i loved it. There was no way they were letting me out of there with a bad tattoo. Also yes you can redo an old tattoo some people get touch ups every couple of years to keep them looking there best

If you want the best possible dragon tattoo you could possibly get, forget about Dublin and go White Dragon Tattoo in Belfast. Chris Crooks is an amazing artist and he specializes in large scale traditional Japanese tattooing. Check him out on facebook, if you are going to have it for the rest of your life it is worth the extra bit of travelling and money.

My son got a 3d snake winding all the way up from his wrist and onto his shoulder. He got it done in Wildcat in Jervis Street Dublin. The guys name is Attila.

+1 to the Chris Crooks recommendation. White Dragon Tattoo in Belfast sounds like exactly what you are looking for - large-scale japanese work is what he specialises in.

talk to darren in colourworks, temple bar. he does amazing dragons in colour, sure black and white would be a breeze. think about colour, contrasting colours look amazing particulary blue and orange for a dragon.
