Virus on laptop.

So it appears I have a virus on my machine.

When I try to do a google search it redirects me to licosearch.


I've ran malwarebytes and removed what it found, used TDSKiller and Hitman Pro, to no avail.


Anyone have any experience with this, or how to get rid of it?

Have you changed your start page back to google, you may have cleared the virus but your home page is still redirecting.

Do a root kit scan while your at it, seen a good few over the last few weeks. http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/sophos-anti-rootkit.html

Download rkill.exe run it and then run spybot search & destroy, it might pick up something malware bytes didn't.

I go to www.google.ie and search something, when I click the result it takes me to licosearch.
