Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Jakdelad

Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately this is a Customer Supply forum and the emergency 1850 telephone number you refer to is for ESB Networks which is acually a seperate company. If you want to email them your comments (for free!!) you can email esbnetworks@esb.ie.

    Thanks

    Carol

OK Carol let's forget about 1850 373 999 for the moment. What about 1850 373 373 for supply queries? I have free local and national all but have to pay through the nose to use YOUR 1850 number. The days of value in 1850 or 1890 numbers is long gone. Why not have a 01 , 021, or whatever number on the bills as well?

    From saynoto1890.com:
    ESB Customer Supply
    Customer Service / Billing 1850372372 Call Instead – 018529534
Meter Readings 1850337777 Call Instead – do it online for free
    New Connections 1850372757 Call Instead – 0214947260

You know, not everyone has a free call to landlines bundle. You can't blame the ESB for having a callsave number. They're trying to do people a favour with it. Although, it's a good suggestion to have both numbers on the bill/ESB literature.

They also seem to be located here: http://www.esb.ie/main/home/contact.jsp

Just to clarify 1850372372 is the Supply number, 1850 373 373 is an entirely different comany, I know that this issue has come up before with most 1850 numbers the caller pays for the first 2 or 3 minutes of the call after that the company involed pays for the balance. Both yourself and Looder make good points, you have free local and national whilst Looder correctly says that a lot of customers don't have bundle packages. I will pass on the comments about advertising our "non" 1850 numbers. To my knowledge most utilities, banks etc only offer the 1850/1890 but open to contradition on that

Sorry Pat, 1850373373 was just a typo.

I certainly think both sets of numbers should be quoted. Everybody I know with Broadband bundles has free call but must pay for 1850.

    Thanks again.
