    Is anyone else sick of these near constant bear attacks?

    It's like we're prisoners in our own homes!

    What are you and I going to do about it?

    I blame the new government there were no bear attacks under fianna fail. Some said our policy of bear appeasement was cowardly and expensive but look at us now

    A BOY who was savaged by a bear he had disturbed in its lair has told how he thought he would die.
    “I accepted death. The feeling was ‘let it come’,” said Ollie Frisk, 12, as the female brown bear bit his legs and clawed his back.
    He is recovering in hospital – but now the lives of three cubs are at risk after the mother ran off following the encounter in woods at *Funsdalen, Sweden.
    Ollie had been skiing with four friends when he strayed into the lair on Friday.
    But he managed to escape and his friends helped drive off the beast.
    He said: “She threw herself on top of me. It was only when I stopped trying to fight that I was given a chance.
    “It then became quiet and she stepped over me and left, thinking I was dead.”

    An old woman told me that the bears escaped from Duffy's circus and have been hiding in the forests.

    Went to the shops to buy milk the other morning and was accosted by a large hairy bear. Kept tickling my ear with his whiskers. Then I played dead and he lost interest. Told the gardaí about it and they informed me there had been a number of bear attacks in the area, all by the same perpetrator...
