    Fair enough if you think he's not our best striker, but not even close to our best striker? How can you even say that, he's dug us put of more holes by being in the right place at the right time and his sharpness in the box.
    The argument is often made that he got a lot of his goals against minnows and in friendlies, but lets not forget....

    Germany in 2002

    Spain in 2002

    Holand 2004, albeit a friendly but still a great win, some goal too

    Italy and France in 2009

    bar the holland goal all of these were in the last minute and hugely important, to me he's our best ever striker anyway.
