Have to choose between the two. A going away present for someone. I don’t want to part with either... :( What to do?

Get them a bottle of Powers? That way you get to keep both and enjoy the hell out of them. Could always spring for a bottle of Johnnie Walker?

    1. Get empty bottle
    2. Pour half of each into it
    3. Keep the other half of each
    4....
    5. Profit

Bottle of 18 year old jameson would be better.

I live in the middle of a big rice field in Japan. Both bottles are probably irradiated at this stage. Maybe I should just get rid of both... :D

I never understood this one, John Jameson was a protestant.

Worth the risk to drink them tbh.

Big rice field you say?? Make them a bottle of sake, although it takes about 9-12 months for it to mature :/

Think it was more to do with which community benefited more from the sales and manufacturing end.

    From After Hours.

Btw, Bushmills is the nicer one so keep that.

For a Japanese person so sake would just be same old, same old. Can get some quality stuff round these parts though. Nice old place near me that is a few hundred years old.

The knowledgeable people seem to think that Bushmills is the better quality and that I should give the Jamesons. Correct?

That's a good point. Do you know if Bushmill really used the slogan "untouched by fenian hands" ?

Oh, thanks. I wasn't being smart. I'd give the Jameson. It's a little harder to get, given that it's supposed to be for duty free. It's not the best Jameson, though.

Either one is a lovely present to give and receive.
Personally I prefer Bushmills but the 10yo has it's detractors as well.
