Upgrade awards clarity from o2.......uk

It's interesting to see that O2 UK take a very open policy on how they award upgrades where many networks (not just O2) keep everything a secret. Why cant Irish networks be as open about their policies as O2 UK are?

Sacres me that I have a Gold upgrade on o2-UK.

They are no angels though, they have removed data from their new tariffs,making it a "bolt-on". Although they do now include tethering and MMS in the new bolt-ons, it still costs a few quid more, need to see exactly how much.
