The dif exposures/PP? between the 2 almost identical pics by the 2 diff photographers is quite marked.

One is cartoony and the other is darker.
I see more noise in the 1st this is because the fill light was upped a tad too much?

City Exiles shot with a 7D and a shutter speed of 640 , no ISO information.
I will go out on a limb and say Ken used a FF camera? 1D mk III or IV.
No details on his shot alas.

Curious not **** stirring...I did a few from Bohs game last week and missed the reach of a 300 for the far shots.

I'd suggest Ken's was taken using a D3 on a 500mm f4

Nikon D3, 500mm f/4, ISO 2500, 1/1000sec.

1D series cameras are 1.3x crop.
