Kegs can be very expensive compared to cans. e.g. I see heineken is €280 delivered for a 50L keg from, BeerNut's link, this would be Irish brewed 4.3% heineken, while in eurospar at the moment the same 50litres in cans would cost you €108 and it is dutch brewed 5% heineken which many prefer. There will probably be waste from the keg too.
