Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was talking about the original Radio Nova the other day, and mentioned that a presenter on Drivetime on Nova, (I think it was Colm hayes) and they were doing an on air experiment about the effects of alcohol on people's ability to carry out their work
To prove this, the on air presenter was drinking vodka (and orange) and as the show went on, there were crashed jingles and splurred conversation.
Am I imagining this, did it really happen or maybe I was the one drinking too much cidona ?

    I think it did happen.
Originally it was supposed to be Tony Gareth (O'Callaghan) but he refused and, IIRC, was subsequently fired.
There was a lot of bad feeling in there over that.
