Problem with FTP (eircom.net)

    Could someone who uses eircom.net check and see if they get a user prompt when ftp'ing web20.hosting365.ie ?

    It's timing out for me yet working for local friends using other ISPs.

    I have no firewalls installed and can ftp ok to another hosting365 server.

    Works fine for me on eircom.net bb

    pc:$ ftp web20.hosting365.ie
    Connected to web20.hosting365.ie.

    Many thanks. That is really perplexing then. I have three machines here, 2 Windows 7 HP and one XP SP3. I can FTP fine to another hosting365 machine but cannot connect to web20.hosting365.ie.

    I have turned off all firewalls, rebooted the Eircom router. I get no reply from web20 when telnetting on port 21.

    I don't understand why I cannot get to this server (that hosts 25 of my domains!) when everyone else can.

    I think it's time to load up a Sniffer packet analyser to see if I am getting anything back from web20.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?
