Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It works in the Airsoft forum...

Why not have a sticky'd thread, one post per user, no discussion, template to be used?

How? No discussion and one post per user means there won't be any hassle.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Disagree with you there...OP's should be locked immediately and all correspondance should be through PM's only...nothing worse than trawling through pages of crap and waiting ages for a reply...

I'd like to see this too. I think it's worth giving it a go because the community here is similar to another section which has this type of thread. If it sucks then just remove it.

Sorry, but for the moment this is not going to happen.

I asked the 'powers that be' and was told that that is what www.adverts.ie is there for.

I am trying for a thread where you can post a link to the advert in adverts.ie.

So why do the other forums have a for sale thread instead of using adverts.ie?

For airsoft it was that they didn't want pictures of quasi realistic firearms appearing when opening adverts.

theres for sale sections in airsoft golf kyaking classic cars archery cycling shooting and probably loads more

seems like its ok for some forums but not others

apart from the shooting and airsoft this is just uneven treatment

i've started a thread in feedback to see if vthey'll tell us why
