The funding for this year's is as follows :
    • Town Council - €15,000
    • Failte Ireland - €8,000
I think its time to tone down the fireworks , - way too expensive for my liking .

Just back from the Dunbrody Festival .

Young Daniel Furlong was very very good and definately has talent .

The Bay City Rollers were'nt great . - They sang about 8/10 songs , but never really got the crowd going .

I wonder how much they get paid for an appearance like this . - If there was an entry fee , you would be looking for your money back .

I heard terrible reports about Showaddywaddy. One person described the lead singer as looking "coked up". Cry Before Dawn were given the thumbs up by a few I spoke to.

I also heard that Mary Byrne pocketed 15K for 6 songs to a backing track. Handy money if you can get it!

Heard that as well...the music was fine, but the lead singer was terrible.

Cry Before Dawn were good, especially considering the lead singer had been sick most of the week before.
