Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. Thinking of getting a smartphone and the best deal with Vodafone seems to be for the Galaxy S, now my requirements are slightly unusual I suppose!, I want a phone that I can use in the gym for music and also to take urgent calls. If you're listening to music and a call comes thro' does it cut in thro' the headphones? Also, can you get an armstrap? Will the Galaxy S do the job for me?

You can get an armstrap for pretty much any smartphone, e.g. here. And the good thing about Android is its very customizable: you can choose how a call interrupts your music depending on the music app you have installed. :)

the galaxy s is a great phone(have had one for awhile now).but for the gym?from what youve just said id imagine there are much better equipped phones to go to the gym with.and i mean from the point of view of taking a battering, a more sturdy phone.id imagine the galaxy wont take much dropping on the floor or getting it wet or banging it off things.its as good as one step down from a computer so you need to be careful enough with it + its expensive.

    remember just my opinion.

Yeah I suppose. I use my desire in the gym all the time, just make sure to get a good armstrap that absorbs sweat and stuff and you should be fine. :)
