Is AIB bank safe ?

    Hi,

    I have 1000 euros in my Online Personal Savings Plan + 7000 into my current account. I am wondering if I should move all my money into a more secure bank or keep it here.

    I do not intend to put any more money into this account. I will work abroad for few years. It seems to me the interest rate in Ireland is better.

    Is AIB 100% safe or should i take no risk and send my money abroad ?

    while AIB as an entity is not 100% safe, your money is. There is a gov guarantee on all (personal?) deposits up to 100k which is totally separate to an y of the recent guarantee nonsense
