Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I have asked the tech guys in my company about this issue but they said there is nothing that can be done... I think they are just lazy :-)

Anyway I have an IBM T410 for work and when I turn on laptop at home, when I get to the desktop screen the Wireless connection take 6-7 minutes to work.. I can open files or do anything else in this time except get into Start - Connect To or any connections options.. I know it's 6-7 minutes cos the clock time freezes also.. after 6-7 minutes the laptop springs back to life and I can then work as normal.. I have no issues when i dock my laptop in work.. This is really annoying as I login from home a lot.. I tried updating drivers but no difference... Any suggestions?

Also webpages like adverts.ie display incorrectly.. No pictures and everything displays in a line down the page..I am thinking because I am behind a proxy this is the issue.. but any advice is appreciated...

    Thanks for your help.

Unsure why the laptop would freeze with this, but it sounds like you've just got a really poor internet connection. I know if you try to load a heavy webpage over a ****ty connection, your browser will fall back to a "basic" view of the page - it'll pull out the text without any images and present it to you in some Times New Roman gammy looking font.

For a test, take your laptop to somewhere else with a wifi connection and test it. Also, you can go to speedtest.net and see what your upload / download speeds are like.

If all of these are ok then it might be an issue with your wireless card. But let us know what happens when you test it on another wifi connection.
