Set to take place on Saturday the 30th of April, and now in its fourth year, our one-day eclectic mini-festival is set to kick off the festival season once again over the May Bank holiday weekend. Encompassing everything from roots and reggae to live bands, drum and bass and dubstep to techno, funk and electro to house, Sibin will once again have something for all tastes, guaranteeing a quality session for everyone. And this year we are moving to a brand new venue – The Millhouse in Slane - just 40 minutes from Dublin, giving us the chance to bring you all the fun and games you have come to expect, but set in beautiful surroundings this year and bigger and brighter... and running later than ever before we can guarantee the craic won’t stop until long into the night!
The lineup this year is set to delight and entertain, as always championing the underground and independent scene from home as well as bringing you treats from abroad. This year we’re collaborating with all your favourite promoters such as Surge, External Sounds, Kaboogie, Scribble, Reach and many many more, to bring you the very best from all the music scenes. Highlights include Orphx, Reeko, Giles Armstrong, Legowelt, Terror Danjah, Loefah, Total Science, New Secret Weapon, The Infomatics, The Whipround, and many many more. We're also adding even more art installations and stunning visuals to make the experience even more special. To celebrate, we're throwing our last warm-up session on Friday 1st April - Sibin Fancy Foolsday at 9pm in Sweeney's of Dame Street.
Our third little burst of excitement, a month before the big day, will take place in Sweeneys on April fools night! This will be all about the live indie music scene and will feature Barley Mob, Dem Fools, Cold Comfort and Gypsy Rebel Rabble. This will be a fancy dress party so get out the mad rags - the crazier the better – Some ticket giveaways on the night for the two best costumes!
