Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was having a look last night and some of them seem ridicolously cheap. Why would this be?

Are they just old or what? Looking at all second hand lenses btw.

    Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 $9.99

    Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 $102.99

They jsut seem really cheap compared to stuff I have looked at over here on Ebay and other sites.

Most likely you are looking at the auction listing, price will go up yet.
But anyway it is old lens, buy it now price about 40 or 50 dollars.
I would suggest you to look somewhere in Europe for this lens, not from USA.
Will not have to pay duty or other charges from custom.

I cna get it delivered to a US address and then posted from there so probably wont have to pay customs anyway.

You'd still have to pay customs.

None that remove your legal obligations to pay the taxes.

If a private individual sends you a gift under the value of €45 (including P&P costs) you aren't liable for customs duty or VAT. So in a sense you're correct, but there are circumstances in which you actually HAVE no legal obligation to pay any tax on a consignment.

Yeah like the legal obligation the bankers have to be held accountable.
