Help with messages issue

    Hi,

    Yesterday my inbox disappeared. Now all the previous threads are gone. I am fine with this but when i try to send a message the screen just refreshes and nothing sends. Any ideas?

    As a workaround, i tried to download handcent and when entering messages, nothing is actually sending now either. Is there additional setup required here? I imagine it should just work as soon as downloaded.

    Apologies - It is a HTC Desire HD.

    I have literally just 'fixed it', and by fixed it i mean i tried turning it off and on again which didnt work. Followed by taking out the battery and replacing it, which did work

    Id still like to get to the bottom of it, but for the time being everything seems to be back as-is.

    This isn't a solution but may help you if this happens again. Get SmsBack up. Backs up your texts to your gmail account.

    In messenger settings there is an option to delete old texts. I think its automatically ticked.
