A major online campaign has been launched to try and locate a Sligo man man who has been missing in Spain since last Sunday afternoon.

Eoghan Timoney, 36, from Sligo Town who lives full-time in Spain since last summer, has not been seen since he went missing from his adopted home town of Gijon, in Asturias on the country’s northern coast. He has been workin as an English teacher.

Friends of the missing Liverpool fan began a major Twitter campaign this evening to seek help in finding the Sligo native, and a Facebook page has been set up to share possible information on his whereabouts.

Anyone who may have seen Timoney, or who has information on where he might be, is asked to email eoghanslight@gmail.com

    They can also telephone 0035 34 63 37 85419, or 00 34 63 77 51 417.

This is an article from Sligo Today, about a friend of mine from Sligo who is missing in Spain. Please forward to anyone you can think of who could be of any help.
    Thank you.
