LINKSYS WRT54GL + Tomato + Wireless N Access Point

Hi,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

My eircom netopia is on it's last legs and i have been reading lots about tomato and the QoS functionality. But i need Wireless N and looks like Tomato is not compatiible with any wireless N router adsl+2 modems.

I'm thinking bout getting a WRT54GL, flashing it with Tomato and adding a wireless N access point.

Anyone got a similar setup or can point me in the right direction?

I've only ur bog standard crappy 5mb connection and I want a setup for HD streaming and downloading that will no fudge Xbox Live in the process.

DD-Wrt supports some Linksys wireless n routers, it has QOS. I've it running here on my home network

I have a Linksys E3000 which can run Tomato and has a dual radio allowing a B/G wireless network and a N network.
When I had ADSL with this setup, I used a Netgear DG834G in modem mode.

Maybe Tomato USB (link to model compatibility) might suit OP, it does N. I think the USB is optional.
