Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The next POTW goes to gloobag for this unusual portrait.

    COOL

That's actually my own grizzly mug :o

I used a 50mm prime at f2.8 / 160th / ISO 100, lit by a speedlight in a 28" softbox, up high pointing slightly down and probably at 1/4 power. The background was a white relector which I hung up behind my head.

Processed in Lightrrom, then into Color Efex Pro where I added tonal contrast (which gives it the grizzly look) and a little bit of cross processing.

Looking at it now, I'm not too happy with the haloing produced by the tonal contrast, but still chuffed that it was featured here. Thanks a mil... :)

    Ooh, thanks folks!

I think is perhaps the luckiest photo I've ever taken.
I was walking down the footpath on a very crowded Columbia Road flower market in the pissing rain and spotted this lady watching the mayhem outside.

Now you mention that, I can see your reflection. You're the one with a camera up to your eye.
