    hi i have a dell inspiron 1545 with the following
    is there anyway to assign more memory to graphics or improve it cos sometimes it struggles to run minecraft

    funny thing about minecraft is it uses 8-bit textures. In essence it shouldnt require much graphics memory at all to run. It uses a lot of standard memory yes but thats the java platform crunching a lot of it's own business. The real killer is all the Other stuff on your IGP, like a narrow pipeline, and very few shaders: compare your 10 unified shader cores to a gaming graphics card's 800 unified (or more) cores. Intel IGPs are not designed for 3D Graphics.
