Hi all and thanks in advance.
Mate of mine has a Chas (charles ?)Smith 16 gauge SxS, anyone ever heard of these ? We recon it's a ladies gun for driven shoots, the layering on the barrels is astonishing, anyway, a few shots

The proof marks are your best clue as to origin and age , take a snap of them and post it.

No shortage of Smith's or for that matter Chas -Charles Smith's as gunmakers or retailers.
From a top end London maker through provincial makers and retailers, London, Birmingham, Newark-on-Trent,........ Nothing on the rib? As Rowa said we need clear photos of the barrel flats and watertable.

Any chance of of a few photos of the gun in natural day light - not direct sunlight.
