No club crests today, just a bare bones thread with a minute to go. :D

Add in teams etc as you lot see fit.

I will be contenting myself with growling at the tv everytime Hodgson's face comes up.

Here's to plenty of face rubbing.

Should be 1 up already. Kuyt hitting over from 2 yards after a good stop from Carson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Kuyt hits the bar after two minutes.

Sounds like a straightforward 4-4-2 according to TodayFM.

Let's hope it's not all hoofs up to Carroll

Looking forward to a lot of debate about Woys tenure at Liverpool and little debate about the match.

If Woy is to have his wevenge this thread is going to get messy.

I'll predict a narrow win for the Reds today, 2-1

Lively start by Carrol and Suarez.

4 centre backs on the field. Sick of this negative football from Kenny! :)

Carroll getting the 'treatment' today from scharner and ollson, (have previous from when he played there for new'c earlier in the season).

Only way to cut that sh1t out is to stick it in the net.

could we see agger having a bit more freedom today now that the change has been made?

Agger from the first whistle is looking for the ball every chance he gets. Seems the lad has a point to prove today.

    I wonder who to? :D

Come on Danny, bang in one of your 25 yarders to make that point.

Apparently one of the banners by the Lfc supporters was "Thanks for the grey hairs Roy".

The Greek will get the winner. Ironic really as he was probably the star of Hodgson's Liverpool era.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Nice link up between Suarez and Kuyt which saw Dirk fire wide at the end of it.

In fairness to Soto, he played just as well last season when he got game time. He is very consistent.

Carroll looks a lot sharper today than during any of his other appearances. Suarez a little off.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

I don't believe it (again!) Agger off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,587 ✭✭✭✭Dont be at yourself

    ****, Agger's down. Knee ligaments?

We'll have to switch to 3 at the back

    ...or not. Wilson coming on!

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,600 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

looks like he should never have started, already heavily strapped knee goes after 25.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Wilson on. Christ Poulson will be on to shore up the defence at this rate....

    Sicknote strikes again.

Agger is a joke with all his injuries. Needs to be replaced in the summer imo.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,925 ✭✭✭th3 s1aught3r

Serious questions have to be asked about the preparations. Johnson hamstring, didnt Aurellio tear one recently, did they not warm up properly ?
Should Agger have started today, lots of issues

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

I'd hate to see Agger go but I think he's going to have to, or be happy as a sub (which he won't be). Carroll picks up a yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

I'm sick of agger. Get rid in the summer

Been saying this for quite some time. Decent player, but completely unreliable. At the very best he'd be decent back up, but what good is your back up if they're on the treatment table more often than not?

I can also see Carroll getting the line here.

    Carroll could see red today.

Who was that waving an imaginery card ?

    Sopcast channel 101232 is excellent.

That was silly from Carroll, he's got to keep his head when getting 'special attention'.

I was very blunt re: Agger before in the superthread, today is another example out of many proving that he needs to be rid off immediately. Beyond a joke.
