Seen as every other light in my house is now LED,Im wondering where I can get some T5 under cabinet light tubes from?
I want to replace the normal tubes in the light units and also in the shelf lights with some LED T5 tubes.

Do any of the leccy wholesalers stock them, and as close to warm white as possible.

    Thanks.

ive not seen t5 led retro fit lamps yet......i have seen complete led fittings made by robus which come in similar sizes to the under cabinet fittings.

we got a few of each size recently and i keep meaning to power one up to see what there like. to the best of my knowledge robus do a led retro fit tube in t8 only, but there way to chunky to be under a pelmet in a kitchen. :D

Any ideas where to source those Robus LED under cabinet lights? I'm starting from scratch so don't need a retrofit solution. Ideally looking for an electrical wholesaler in Dublin that stock these. Thx

TBH, the T5 lamps can be efficient in the right environment. Under counter lighting can come down to look and feel, you can get a nice spread of light from a T5 tube possibly better than the LED lamp in a T5 shaped lamp may give.

Would you consider LED rope light. There is a high output product called Flexi neon, if my memory servers me correctly it's about 6Watt per 1 M, these are a good deal more "powerful" than the rope lights people use on their houses at Christmas and were developed to challenge the Neon lighting product range.

You can order it to size (at least you could once) and you get it with clear clips so you don't have gaps. You could consider removing the existing T5 fittings (and their internal losses) and replacing them with the flexi neon

You could pop down and look at the product first, I think this place has them

    edit

this is the product, I don't know if it can be cut to suit your kitchen, but a call to the guys would cleat that up, plus it's only 4 or 6Watts per M, IMO that's very good
