    Wicklow war is coming up and im looking to change the tires on my road bike. Last year i did Gael Force with regular 23's and did not get a puncture. I do not want to take a chance this year for Wicklow and Gael Force. I am going to get Gator Hard Shells but cannot decide on 23's or 25's. Can anyone help?

    Have done 2 GF's on standard tires and the punctures I got in year 1 were all on tarmac roads!
    I know plenty who got through on standard tires so unless you want a little peace of mind I wouldn't be too rushed to go out to get gators or that.
    The Michellin Irreliumns are a tough kevlar tire also and affordable.
