That's strange because I have done it before.

it's only been brought in recently in an attempt to combat the spammers and shills etc. not sure when exactly though.

    Thanks for the explanation though.

D'oh. I've noticed some threads don't allow pics at all; shame there's not a facility to make some threads open complete to 'em.
    Ah ok. Feckit.
    Thanks for the explanation though.

I guess you could just make another 17 posts giving out about it, then problem solved. :)

I sure did, I was sitting at the computer doing some work on my website. Frightened the crap out of me.
It started with light shaking and a loud rumbling sound followed a few seconds later by very violent shaking and very very loud, like the loudest thunder you have ever heard. I went running to get Sean and get out of the house when there was a massive jolt upwards. Then it stopped. Two Americans who are staying here in the Cycling Lodge dived under the table. We felt 7 tremors in the following 3 hours. Earthquakes are common here, usually I notice 3 or 4 a month. Last June we had one that woke everybody up at 4am.

It centered on Hautacam at 4.7Ml. Not very strong as earthquakes go but very close and not very deep so felt really strong. My friend who comes from Mexico City says it feel to her like a much bigger quake.

No injuries and little damage to buildings, a few chimneys falling and I believe one house in Argeles-Gazost that will need to be demolished.

Luckily nobody was sitting on this chair at the cafe in Pierrefitte.

Other than that it was a beautiful day.

The west coast is stunning on a sunny day. A bit breezy though ;)IMG_120876198720945_zpsmzr8idq_edit_1399670902515_zpskzcjbr4f.jpeg[/URL]

Top of The Valley of Tears looking towards descent. The name isn't inappropriate; after climbing a nice 300m climb you then tackle this toughie, nearly a 1000m in 10km with some sections up to 23%

cracking climb if you hate yourself. I did it last year. I particularly loved the way it looked like the climb was nearly over before every corner, only for it to open out and reveal more climbing :)

Some of the roads there are amazing.

Are you not afraid the bars might meet the same fate one day. They do look good though :-)

I was exaggerating a tad when I said the seatpost fell apart :pac: The carbon on the seatpost was grand, there was just a metal bit on it that came loose.
